Mono Monday 74 Line.....

.....the Central Line in this case.  There were lots of ideas passing through my mind for this week's challenge but in the end I decided to go with something that is practically on my doorstep - the Central Line London Underground  station that is a few minutes walk away from where we live.  The observant amongst you will of course notice that at this point the tube train is actually running overground!*  If you have a magnifying glass handy, you might even be able to work out which station this is too.
*Buckhurst Hill station opened in 1856 as part of the Eastern Counties Railway branch to London.  The 1856 station house survives to the south of the present platforms, but most of the present station dates from 1892, when the entrance was moved to Victoria Road. The station was transferred to London Underground ownership to form part of the Central Line in 1948. The station still maintains its Victorian feel to a large extent.

Thank you once again to JDO for her splendid hosting this month, which has in my opinion, produced some wonderful images from us.
