... or, at least, that is how it's supposed to look.  This was requested for a non-Science lesson where the teacher wants a number of props to make him look like a mad scientist.

In practice, this is nothing more hazardous than water with added food colouring, although some may consider artificial food colouring to be an unwelcome ingredient.
