Ancient Burial Ground.

Didn't do a lot, trying to get 4 of us to decide what we were going to do, was a bit of a mission.......
In the evening, we picked up Doug and all went out for dinner in Portree. Doug's car had decided to do the bearings in the wheel just before we arrived, and he had decided that he had wasted enough money on it, so was getting rid of it, and getting a new one. But in the meantime, he was without wheels. He was very disappointed, as he had been looking forward to taking us around Skye and showing us his favourite places.
After dinner, we dropped Doug off at his place and went out to the old burial ground, best described by the stone that is erected there; "St Columbra's Island. Ancient burial ground and site of the Cathedral Church of the Bishops of the Isles from 1079-1498. Similarly ancients is the Mortuary Chapel Nicolson's Aisle. Where according to tradition twenty eight Chiefs of that Clan are buried." M is a Nicol and has been involved in the memorial that is near Portree.
It had been raining heavily for most of the day, and there was water everywhere, but on the way back from there to our cottage, the heaven opened up and it literally dumped the rain from the skies!! The car wipers couldn't keep up with the rain.
