The Quiraing's.

A fine, sunny day......... headed out to try to find the Dinosaur's footprints at Staffin.

Couldn't find them, we think the tide needed to be out further. Anyway, it was rather pleasant on the beach. Leanne & I headed off to walk up on the Quiraing's. We had wanted to go up along the ridge. In 2010 we had climbed up to the Needle, but wanted to see the view from the top. Couldn't find the track that went up there, so we went up on the hillside, on the opposite side of the road, and looked back across to where we had gone previously. It actually got to 18 deg C, when we were sheltered from the wind. We sat up the top and ate our lunch, with wonderful panoramic views in all directions.
Doug came around for dinner, then after dropping him back at his place, we headed out to the Scorrybreac house site and monument – another bit of Nicholson history.
