It was sweltering today... The goslings were panting; Mr. and Mrs. were panting. They didn't wander far from the water's edge while I was there.
BUT, Barbara appeared and threw them huge handfuls of bread. ARGH. This (above) is what they've meant to eat; I've told her so many times. She today commented that it was strange that they'd "started eating green stuff like the Canada geese". 
*Sigh*
