Quod oculus meus videt

Gate into the Teardrop Garden

What a glorious day.  We should never complain when we have weather like this (yes, I know it was very hot in many parts of the UK - Southern hemisphere Blippers apologies, I know the comments aren't really appropriate for you!).

I started the day at Weston Park hoping to find some new images for the exhibition.  I was rather taken by this gate, with the early morning sunlight illuminating the background.  More roses, just not as many as yesterday.

Technical: It is an HDR (3 shots, 2 stop separation), mainly because it was quicker. I reckon I could have achieved a very similar result from one exposure, I just didn't want to take that long over it.
