Pickering

We felt the need for a weekend away and decided that we would go to Scarborough. Having decided on thursday that we should go on friday we found it difficult to find somewhere decent to stay. When I widened the search to include Pickering I came across this old water mill, and booked us in for two nights. It is a lovely old (not working) mill on the edge of Pickering and handy for the North York Moors Railway, which we didn't go on. From there we travelled to Snainton and Scarborough and had a lovely relaxing weekend. Thoroughly recommened!
