Scarborough

We had a lovely morning in Scarborough, walked on the beach , had ice creams etc and then the rain came down. Back to the car said Husband! We sat and watched the rain on the windscreen and ate our picnic, but still it rained. Grumpy children went past with flip flops and flimsy raincoats, and even grumpier parents. It was a case of "You are here to enjoy yourselves and you will whether it's pouring or not". Children were crying, flip flops were lost along with quite a few tempers! We gave up in the end and went to visit Aunty Joan, I am not sure which is worst sitting in the rain or being licked by her dog. I am sure that tomoorow will be better.
