Mist rising from trees

I had to drive to Glasgow and back today (a 160 mile round trip) to appear on the Politics Show.

On the way there it poured with rain and leaving Glasgow it was even more torrential. But as I came down to Loch Fyne the low cloud was rising, leaving wisps in the trees which were slowly lifting and disappearing.

It is very hard to capture something so transitory although I stopped a couple of times to try .

This was taken just after the turn off to Lochgoilhead.
