Rhubarb

While on the topic of garden restoration, quite a lot of work needs to be done before our garden once again differs from a weed patch.  However, even in some areas which have been thoroughly neglected, nature just gets on with it.  Our Rhubarb patch has not been worked on or touched for at least two years, due to health problems and the building work, however, this has developed to being larger and thicker than it previously was.  In view of the number of seeds here, some off which will fall and germinate, our patch should be even bigger next year.  We have eaten some of it this year and it was very tasty, but most of it has gone to seed as can be seen in this picture.
