Hmmm - which one to try tonight?

I have of late developed a taste for the old English beers and pale ales, especially of the weaker variety!  These days the tendency is to go stronger and stronger with our beers with 8, 9 and 10% beers easily available on the supermarket shelves.  Some even go as high as 18% as can be seen here.

But I have discovered a mighty fine ale from Adnams Brewery (founded in 1872) with the name of Broadside.  The little stories on each bottle draw you in and before you know it you've drawn it in!  At between 3.8% and 5% they are very refreshing to drink and they don't leave you with the banging head of the stronger beers!

My extra photo today is a selection of other interesting looking British beers - enjoy!
