Later & Later

I tried photographing the gorgeous moon this evening but I wasn't happy with the results, so it had to be the penstemon that was tucked away in a corner of the garden. It was after 10pm by the time I got the camera to focus in the near dark! 

It was too hot today to spread the two tons of gravel but like mad dogs, we went out into the midday sun at 37 degrees (according to Mr E's weather station) and did exactly that! Bonkers. 

It looks great and I'm so glad we did it :-)
