What if?

Phlox

This is a white phlox which is finally beginning to get going. The common pinky-purple varieties are easy and just take over, but in our garden any other color is much more fussy. I just love white flowers, maybe because our summers are hot and they provide a welcome relief. I always wished I could have a white garden, like that of Vita Sackville-West at Sissinghurst, but I shall never succeed in that.
The extra is a dahlia that I have been playing with and rather liked the sepia.
Thank you for all your comments and stars for the indigo bunting. I hope one day the male will arrive at the feeder and you can see him in all his spendor. He really is blue all over and a beautiful bird.
