Sabar

Sabar was out in Market Square with his wife and grandson. He was easy to approach and it was only after I'd taken his portrait that it dawned on me that his face was familiar. I checked and found that I'd blipped him for my 'thousand faces' project over two years ago. That's the second time in a week that's happened now with someone. The previous time it was a young woman, but when I saw her again today she actually didn't recall me taking her picture the first time either. That made me feel better.

Sabar has a tremendous dignity. I told him he was an extremely handsome man. He seemed to take pleasure from that. I think he knows it too!
