Hospice Garden

Another beautiful day and a first outing round the garden for mum.  We'd been to the hospital for her to have an ultrasound scan on her right leg.  Fortunately the waiting room was empty, apart from someone who was about to have a CT scan, so we didn't have to wait very long.   The hospice is fairly close to the hospital and Mick didn't take long to return for us (they have a small vehicle converted for a wheelchair), so I took advantage of her being in the wheelchair to show her the kitchen/ sitting room (and the jigsaw) and then round the garden before leaving her to sleep.

A morning trip to Pontefract, to her bank, and then a check up on her garden to see what wanted doing.  It's been very dry where she lives and apart from the roses most of the flowering plants are past their best.  It does mean the grass hasn't grown too much though -it  just needs a few flowering grass stems to be cut.
