Owl (365 mono #313)

I was visiting Leeds today and stayed at a hotel and conference venue  called Weetwood Hall.

This owl is part of a magnificent sculpture in the turning circle outside the building.  The sculpture was designed and made by Steve Blaylock - who has made various sculptures that apparently include one that was in the Blue Peter garden.  The sculpture consists of three owls in an oak tree of steel and bronze set on Yorkshire stone.  I read that three owls have been the symbol of Leeds since 1660.

Works quite well in mono, I reckon.
