Three coins in the fountain (or not)

We are in Rome. It is hot and noisy and full of history and so alive and wonderful. I absolutely love it. I took a few rubbish photos all day though. Too busy watching life go by to remember to use the camera.

I have been to Rome before and duly chucked my coin in the Trevi Fountain. And here I am, back again. So I took my husband to do the same, only to find that it's being restored and is drained and shrouded in scaffolding. My daughter (on her 3rd visit) was worried and we debated whether previous coin throws are good for ensuring several future visits or just the next one.

No matter. We're having a wonderful time. I'm sure we'll be back, coins thrown or not.
