A new chapter :)

Joe crawled backwards at 9 months, forwards at 10 months and took his first unaided steps at 13 months.
Jess bottom shuffled, never crawled and took her first unaided steps at 15 months.  (Apparently bottom shufflers do walk later they say.. whoever they are!)
Amelia adopted a hurdling position at 8 months and took her first unaided steps at 9 months.
Jess flew the nest today.. the last of them to take flight... all a bit emotional.  They are all out there in the big wide world now though.. walking tall for themselves.. bless em!

For those who have been there you'll know how it feels.. for those who will face it... empty nest syndrome is real.. and it hurts.

BUT... a lovely afternoon with a good friend at Hardcastle Crags to take my mind off things... and oh Gibson Mill here was looking stunning in the sun. 

And now... my new chapter begins! :)
