A Night At The Opera

There have to be some perks for visiting an accountant and this is one of them! The lady I visited today lives along the shore of Allonby Bay. After discussing our submission we had a dog to walk so the beach was an obvious choice.

I'm used to seeing blips of a spaniel swimming in this area. There is absolutely no chance of getting a blip of Ash swimming. This is the closest I'll get - Ash with his feet wet. Accidentally!

A busy day of sorting some new images and printing cards was followed by a night at the opera. The English National Opera's production of Carmen was transmitted as a live broadcast to Rheged, Penrith from The London Coleseum. Much better than being actually at the theatre as we got close-up views of the actors' wonderful facial expressions. However it was a bit strange hearing La Habanera, and indeed all the song, sung in English!
