All I longed for, I have found by the water

So yesterday we left Oban in the rain, and today we are getting sunburned on Barra.
This is not actually Barra, but the small island of Vatersay which is linked by a short causeway. We cycled over there this morning and paddled on this beautiful sandy beach.
In the afternoon, we went to a Fisherman's Mass at the harbour on Barra. The harbour and boats had been decorated with flags and after a service conducted by priests from a trailer, the boats were blessed and then everyone went to eat fresh herring on the quayside.
