New friend

Today we have cycled all around the island in a clockwise direction, making a detour to the airport. In Barra, the plane lands on the beach, and watching it is a popular tourist attraction.
There is also a nice cafe at the airport, where we had lunch.
We met this friendly horse on the road. He had escaped from his field, but luckily a passerby knew him and led him back away from the traffic.
After lunch we walked along the beach and up Beinn Eoligarry, cycling back in the rain.
This evening we have watched " Whisky Galore", which is set on Eriskay but was filmed on Barra.
