Drumlanrig

Lunch at Drumlanrig today followed by a leisurely stroll around the woods and gardens. Although we were caught in a hailstorm and then a deluge on the way there, after lunch the sun came out and the light was beautiful. Coming home, we passed a sign for "July Teas, 2-4pm, Tynron Village Hall - Tea, Cakes, Books and More". The promise of tea, cakes and books was enough to persuade us to stop for a very pleasant hour. It's 5 o'clock now and the sun's still shining. What a lovely day.
