For the butterflies

This common milkweed calls an invitation to bees, flies and especially the monarch butterfly. This is the monarch caterpillar's only food. In the US we are trying to save the monarch by growing more milkweed. Farming practices have virtually eliminated the milkweed in some areas. When the monarch migrated across the US and down to a warm winter in southern California and mexico.
Today I saw my second monarch flying past me to the coneflowers. I hope it found the milkweed! The red flowers in the back are monarda and the rugosa rose hedge is behind that.
