Cereal Crops and Soft Fruit Polytunnels

20.2C with lots of sunny sunshine in the morning. Clouding over in the afternoon with rain forecast. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound went out into her garden just after 8am.

Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. It was still sunny amongst the fields of cereal crops and the soft fruit polytunnels at Scryne when we turned back and walked back along the road. We turned left at Craigmill farm to go down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing.

Down on the beach the tide was far out. Valhalla A and Shamara II were moored out in the channel through the rocks. A smaller boat was lying on the sand and seaweed. A few people on the beach.

We came up off the beach at the fishermen's huts and came along East Row and over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home. Maeve went back out into the garden as soon as we got home. Lawn one has been favoured today.
