Monday Mono: The biker and the tourist in Oslo

A snapshot on my way to meet a friend I haven't seen in years :-)

The statue of Gunnar Sonstebo (Gunnar Sønstebø) and the Japanese tourist watching the university. 

Sonstebo er was one of Norway's most decorated war heroes as the chief of operations for the underground resistance against Nazi-occupied Norway. See more in The Telegraph interview.


I don't think the tourist knew his history, but she follow his gaze and like what see saw :-)

And I liked her frozen pose, looking like a statue :-)
