But, then again . . . . .

We went into Penicuik this morning to inspect the new monthly street market, it looked surprisingly prosperous. A large part of the reason for putting in an appearance was to see "Plan Bee Company's" stall, they had expressed an interest in putting bee hives in The Lost Garden; they're a curious outfit asking patrons to, not only  buy honey but to pay for the privilege of having bees on their property and of taking up the offer of "sponsoring a bee" (an odd concept bearing in mind that your average bee lives for six weeks before popping its clogs.

The blip is of lady buskers collecting money for charity, I didn't find out exactly which charity but I know the lady with the headband and will ask her next time I see her. She's a slightly strange person who enjoys cycling but doesn't like traffic. Her route to the supermarket is about four miles of assorted footpaths, but would be under a mile by the main road.
It works for her so I'm not going to knock it.
