I came back to add the movie we watched 10 minutes after this posting. Whitewash. A Canadian production with Thomas Haden Church. After he commits a problem, he runs away into the wintry woods of rural Quebec. Very wintry, very cold. A most synchronistic find to pair with today's subject matter and a welcome viewing to cool us done from our long heatwave.
