The Columbia River by Dinghy

We met a friend for lunch on a floating restaurant. Then she took us for a quick spin in her tiny dinghy. She lives on the river and partakes in river rescues, using a much larger rescue boat. It is the boating season so the adventures are indeed prevalent. A welcome spin during the ongoing heatwave here in Portland.
The extra shows the tiny tip of Mt. Hood which is 11,200 feet, and the tip of the tiny dinghy.

Abstract Thursday is coming. Edition #2 of 5, for July only and tagged AT2. Check out last Thursday's entries at AT1 They are very cool, very inspirational and looking forward to raising the abstract bar.
