Miniature Poodle and Labrador Retreiver Shaken...

...not stirred.

Blipping a black dog in a bright green tall grass field is a bit tricky so I just threw out the green entirely to focus on Meia. This is the only time I've seen her with raised ears, and could only do it with the beauty of a fast shutter. She would do this jump thing whenever I shook the tall grass. She may look small here but that grass is pretty tall. The retriever legs dominate.
Layne and I joined her human mom for a portrait session in a thousand acre dog park on the outside of Portland. Yes, that is a big park, mainly because it is in a Columbia River wetland flood-zone. The Sandy River Delta Park. We got an early start because it is still pretty hot here.
