An Unkindness of Ravens

By Nevermore

Just hanging on

A very cold, grey start to the day, with fog that didn't clear until 2pm - but then it was glorious!

We have 7 mature oak trees in our garden, which is fairly unusual for an area where 'natives' are all the thing. Someone must have had a real longing for a European garden about 40 years ago.... (assuming they were planted after the fire came through).

Some lose all their leaves, as you'd expect, but others stay virtually green and lose hardly any leaves. Different types maybe have different temperature triggers for leaf shedding??

The next good, strong wind will see this particular one lose the last few leaf hangers-on.
