Mock Orange..

this Philadelphus smells completely wonderful.  It is at its stongest after dark so if we go out with Flossie in the evening the powerful scent is heavy in the air... fab!! 

Has anyone else had an invasion in huge numbers of pollen beetles this year? We have!!  When I hang out pale coloured shirts to dry they almost immediately go black with beetles!!  You can see one hiding in the flower here!!
