I'll give the University of Sydney this, it is very beautiful.

It's been another brain straining day of conference proceedings, with new ideas and methods flying across the Quandrangle all day. It's been great, I'm getting to know people in all kinds of areas, and a few postgrads went out for dinner this evening.

I presented my paper this morning, it seemed to go very well and was well received, which is always a relief. Quite a few people came up to talk to me about it later on, which was encouraging.

Another day back at it tomorrow, better get some rest now.
