Still Life - No Crickets Involved!!

We had the painters in today. Totally unexpected but they were very pleasant, but I always find it uncomfortable with strangers in the house.

Just before they returned from their lunch break I got into blip mode. I placed the Gardenia on the dust sheet took a few snaps. Unfortunately they didn't look that great at all, so I played around with the Aviary App et voila!!

I really pleased with it as I'm not at all confident with flowers. It seems the image I can see in my head never appears on the screen!! good job it's digital photography eh!! ;-)
