An ordinary life....

Port Bourgenay...

David and Kenny were up and out early this morning to play golf at Talmont St Hilaire.  That's the the town we stayed in when we were last on holiday in France two years ago.

Ele and I went to meet then for lunch at Port Bourgenay.  Savoury galettes followed by sweet crepes.  Salted caramel and butter for me.  Yummy!

I had hoped to spend time photographing the sea crashing against the rocks but the tide was out.  How rude!  Obviously no one had told the sea  I was coming!  :)

Back to the holiday house by 5.30 to the good news that Alan's car has been fixed and David can collect it tomorrow.  Mick (owner of the holiday house) is heading to the town where the car currently is, in the morning so can drop him off.  Fingers crossed that's the last of the car trouble till we get home at least!

Alan didn't get in the pool today again as it was only 21 degrees but the scorchio weather is due to return tomorrow so a dip is definitely on the cards.   Niece Jennifer and her friend Rebecca arrive tomorrow for a week so more pals for Alan to soak in the pool.

Bring it on!  :D
