Precipitation on the Poppy!

Another wet night .... I suppose the plants need their refreshment too! Spotted this rather damp poppy on route to the golf course this morning.
Things did improve this afternoon and the sun made an all too brief appearance.
The extra photo of the pink poppy (taken on our walk round Chapel Green) was taken later in the afternoon when things had dried up.
