Sea Holly

L and I went to Kingsbarns this afternoon to explore some of their hidden gardens which are opened to the public one day each summer as part of their big charity fund raiser.  The weather was rather wet to begin with but by the time we sat down for a cuppa and a meringue (or two!) the rain had practically stopped.  So many beautiful flowers it was hard to choose but I just loved this Eryngium with its spiny leaves.

L had her wee radio and ear phones with her so she kept me up to date with the tennis match.  I made sure we were home in time for most of the last set.  Such  wonderful results for both Andy Murray and Heather Watson, not forgetting Gordon Reid, Alfie Hewett and Jordanne Whiley. A great day for GB
