Almost There

This morning KG went to B&Q to get some wood to cover the top of the pond to hide the liner.  He dropped me off at Asda and I got some bits and pieces for tomorrow.  When we got back he started filling in the old pond with the earth and rubble he had got from digging out the new pond.  We have got our summer house back now and even had lunch there. 
After lunch we sorted out the lilies and put them in the new pond alond with the fish tht had survived.  We had bought some solar oxygenators  and a solar pump so we set these up as well.  The pump was impressive but it does need the sun but we are quite happy with what it does.  The bunnies were in the background keeping an eye on things and were very good for a change - I think they thought it was a bit deep.

Just a bit of general tidying up and putting the top on the pond to do now.  Phew!!
