Turf

The external construction work for the extension next door is, at last, pretty well complete, and the portaloo was removed this morning, so our view from the lounge window is much improved. There is still work going on internally, but that affects us less.  It is now the gardeners who are working outside, and they are completely transforming the garden.  This morning, the road outside was temporarily  blocked by a large lorry and the fork lift truck as quantities of turf were delivered.

I think we are beginning to see the end now.
