Poldark revisited

Due to the BBC's latest cuts, Ian from the National Trust, has been invited to star in the next series of Poldark currently being filmed on Holywell Beach, Cubert, Cornwall. .......  he will be making his entrance by cantering up on to the sand dunes on his trusty chestnut stallion 'Broom'.......

Back to reality:  the Movie Makers are here in Cubert to make a new Agatha Christie series/film.  The leading actress is currently on sick leave following a bout of food poisoning but the Movie Makers are still here waiting for her return to continue the filming.  We will be keeping an eye on progress.  

After parking the car in the NT car park we enjoyed a lazy afternoon on the beach - the sun showing her face from time to time but still nice and warm.
