Bell Gorge

There are a lot of gorges around where we were staying at Bell Gorge camp.  Most involve a drive in and often a river or creek crossing or two.  Lots of fun if you like 4 wheel driving. When you get there, there is more often than not a long walk in and generally the better gorges (or at least in my opinion) the longer the walk.  This is Bell Gorge.  A spectacular set of falls and crisp cold water.  No salties (salt water crocs) either.  I couldn't be a**sed to bring the tripod with me so no long exposures but maybe next time.

We also did Leonard Gorge in the morning but visually not half the goods as Bell Gorge.

The camp is about 29 km and three river crossings from this gorge and was well run by a very friendly group.  Safari style tents and a central dining area.  A private bathroom in your tent and wonder of wonders electricity as there was a nearby Aboriginal Community.

The extras are of the camp at night and that wonderful wonderful wonderful night sky.
