Summer Saturday

We have had a lovely summery Saturday. We started off with Leo's golf lesson in some gorgeous sunshine - all about pitching today. He was very impressed as he pitched from off the green and hit the flag :)

Then we headed to the a Library for refreshments and so that Leo could sign up for the Summer Reading Challengs. He really wants to be a record breaker so let's hope lots of children sign up http://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

Luckily he doesn't need any encouragement to get stuck into a book - but he is looking forward to earning a medal and more of those awful stinky stickers that the kids earn when they read books as part of the challenge.

Then after a nice lunch at Pickwicks, where Leo tottered around with tiny toddler steps because he got a pedometer in his Book Challenge Bag and wanted to rack up the steps, I headed to the church to ring for a wedding.

Am having a lazy rest of the day. Not sure what we'll get up tomorrow - weather looks a bit rubbish for gadding about. We'll see ...
