Caerlaverock Castle

Another day of gorgeous weather in Galloway, I was travelling home today but had a look around Caerlaverock Castle on the way. It's such a lovely place, although a bit overrun with Americans today. Triangular castles are to be treasured, in my opinion,  there aren't many about. 

Later I stopped off at the Biggar Gasworks Museum, which was interesting, if less picturesque. I've been trying to get there for years but it's always been closed when I've been anywhere near it.
