Waiting for the shoppers

A lot of people are sniffy about Milton Keynes, but I like it. The shopping centre (pictured here) is pretty good, I think. This was taken before the hoards of shoppers descended, almost the definition of the calm before the storm. I was attracted by the depth of the sky, and the sharp-edged shadows. Had a bit of a Hockney feel to it.
