Clematis

Spotted this clematis a couple of days ago. It's growing through a lot of rubbish and I don't remember seeing it before! This photo really doesn't do it justice, the colour is dark maroon like velvet.

A day of chores for me - two lots of washing done but when I put the second lot out the rain started and it rained heavily all evening and into the night, good for the garden. It was very warm and very windy.

MrD just kept working on his new shed.
