Number 4 - On guard

A Sunday of getting lots of things done: a walk first thing to get a newspaper; a couple of hours of work, prepping for a Y12 lesson tomorrow and making a start on the biggest assembly of the year; lunch made for us and then out this afternoon to spot barons Uphill. This one the Lindum Soldier is standing guard at Newport Arch on the way into the Bail. We saw another 8, 9 if you count the one we drove past (and Bailey cocked his leg up two!) so we reckon we've seen 20 of the 25 this weekend so 5 to find in August. Home to cut the grass and then a bit of laurel lopping after tea has made for a very productive Sunday. And the last Sunday night of this academic year for me - but we have to say that quietly for those people who are going on until the following Wednesday...
