Source of Manor

You know about the lovely Manor Valley.  In the late 1990's there were five teenagers in the small parish church Youth Group.    They had the idea that they would like to research life in their Valley - its history, legends, characters, etc.    What they produced was an immensely impressive and thorough piece of research - so good that it was published as a 300 page book.   It's on my coffee table (bought from Amazon) and it is a wonderful resource and source of information and entertainment.

Yesterday's quiz - several people (JohnJD was first) got the Condor Pasa as the source of the sparrow and snail words.   The "close proximity "with the image?    Well, these were "troubled waters".   On the Simon and Garfunkel Album "Bridge over troubled water", the title track was followed by El Condor Pasa.    So every time I hear BOTW - immediately comes into my head ECP.    This is due to having listened to the album around a million times in my impressionable youth.
