Next to where I live is a large new housing area.... and now it is almost all done.  One of the show houses has been sold, and there is only a handful of properties left on the market.   


In 1921, 16-year-old Frank Taylor borrowed some money to build two houses in  Blackpool.  As he was too young to form his own company, his uncle Jack had to lend his name - which was Woodrow.   The merger with Wimpey's came much later.
