Mystery plant

All I know is that this is an Australian native.  It is a small tree or bush with long, narrow, pendulous leaves not unlike a gum.  The berries are orange and hang in clusters, being globular in shape.  However, this astonishing view, not dissimilar to a salivating muppet's open mouth, is the open berry and contains red gelatinous looking seeds.  I have tried to explore native plant sites, but have run out of time.  Paladian! Help me if you can! This is part of the extensive native gardens on the site we are moving to in September.  City life beckons (well, rural city life, actually.) Many Blip opportunities ahead.:o))
