A remnant of an Autumn past

This is a difficult challenge when it is the middle of winter here.  Nothing much out there that can be manipulated to infer Autumn when it so plainly is not.
Oh well, here is my effort. Memories of light russet/gold leaves wafting to the ground on a soft breeze in the beautiful Autumn sunshine. Those that have survived nestle in the lengthening grass (it is too wet to mow at the moment) to remind us of degeneration to be followed by renewal.  Can't wait!
