The Windows Aren't Art Deco

A loooooooooooooong day.  It is now 8:30 and I left for work at 20 past 6.

However there were a few successes - reprogramming a telly without a remote or a handbook and then getting a German library app to actually work.  Doesn't sound like much but after 9 hours in the office with a constantly ringing (and answered) telephone, I was already tired.

And then to top it off I went to the supermarket.  So had a hundred other people.  So it was great that there were only 2 tills open.  There were lots of staff walking around but I expect that was what they had been told to do and nothing else.

Reminds me of a story a friend told me when she was a kid.  She really wanted to go on Top Of The Pops but her mum told her that she could only get on if she could dance for 12 hours.  If she stopped at any point, she'd be thrown out.
